CD 1

  • Adam Gopnik is the author of Through the Children’s Gate and The New York Times best seller Paris to the Moon. He has written for The New Yorker since 1986.
  • When not working on obscure documentaries, Jon Levin is writing a psycho-spiritual memoir set against a backdrop of politics, corporate media, pop-culture and drug abuse. Just like everyone else.
  • Steve Osborne spent 20 years in the NYPD. He retired a lieutenant in the detective bureau, where he was the commanding officer of the Manhattan Gang Squad.
  • Elna Baker is a comedic storyteller and monologist and creator of the solo comedy shows, If You See Something, Say Something (Fringe 2006) and A Mexican-Mormon (La Mama E.T.C., directed by Elizabeth Swados). www.elnabaker.com.
  • When not telling stories, Boris Timanovsky manages the development of financial software. He told his first story at a Moth StorySLAM.

CD 2

  • Walter “Walt” Pavlo was a senior manager at MCI when it discovered over $7 billion in accounting irregularities.
  • Jack Hitt is a contributing writer to The New York Times Magazine, Harper’s Magazine and the public radio program This American Life. He is the author of Off the Road: A Modern-Day Walk Down the Pilgrim’s Route into Spain.
  • Edgar Oliver is a prolific playwright and the author of The Man Who Loved Plants. He lives in the East Village and is considered a treasure of bohemian New York.
  • Simon Doonan is the Creative Director for Barney’s, a columnist for The New York Observer and the best-selling author of Confessions of a Window Dresser, Wacky Chicks and Nasty: My Family and Other Glamorous Varmints.
  • Ophira Eisenberg is a writer and stand-up comic who performs regularly at renowned comedy clubs across the country.
